GTA VI: The Album: Formats, Prices and Artists
Updated September 28, 2026
On September 17, 2026, Rockstar made Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album official, an original soundtrack that arrives on the same day as the game, November 19.
What we know
- Some reports put the tracklist at 34 new songs. Rockstar has revealed only six titles so far.
- Artists began teasing their involvement on September 15, by posting pieces of the game's artwork.
- Travis Scott and Morgan Wallen are among the first artists named.
- Digital fans can pre-save the album, and it will be added to their library on release day.
Physical editions and prices
The album comes on CD and on two vinyl versions. Prices reported in US dollars:
- CD: $19.98
- Standard vinyl: $49.98
- Limited-edition vinyl: $124.98, described as two transparent magenta discs with blue liquid inside and exclusive artwork. It sold out quickly.
Reported euro prices are €16.99, €51.99 and €123.99 respectively, but check the official store for your country.
The irony
Because the game's physical copy contains only a download code, the album may be the only disc carrying the GTA VI name at launch. We explain the code system in our pre-order guide.
Why music matters in GTA
Radio stations have always been part of the series' identity. Rockstar seems to be recreating that feeling with a new set of songs for Vice City and Leonida, though it has not explained how the album relates to the in-game radio.
